Pumpkins seem to be autumn's mascot and there is no
better way than to create breathtaking centerpieces
that bring
fall foliage right to your home.
Select a nice round pumpkin and cut off the top and scoop out
the inside. Place a plastic container or
pot that sits snuggly
inside the pumpkin.
Inside the bucket or pot place a piece of floral foam (cut to
fit if necessary). Add water so the
foam is soaked and there
is an ever so slight pool of water at the bottom
of the bucket.
Arrange seasonal flowers, dried leaves, berries,
etc. so that
the bucket is hidden. Place pumpkin on your
table, mantle, or
in your favorite place in the home.
