Spiced
Coffee
Makes 4 Servings
Ingredients:
½ Cup freshly ground
coffee
4
Whole cloves
1
Cinnamon stick
1
2-inch strip orange zest
Ice
Cream and sugar, optional
Directions:
Fill carafe with cold
water to the 6-cup level. Pour into reservoir. Place cloves, cinnamon stick
and orange zest into carafe. Add coffee to coffeemaker and brew.
When finished brewing,
turn off coffeemaker and let the spiced coffee sit for 1 hour. Strain to
remove the spices.
Serve over ice in tall
glasses with cream and sugar if desired.
